This bit offers a Two Ring cheek made of high quality stainless steel and Mikmars Cupreon “Simple-Center” 16mm Mouthpiece. The Two Ring is wonderful for achieving elevation and lightness, without over bitting the horse. It is an excellent choice for transitioning from any snaffle style bit when desiring more collection.The double-jointed mouthpiece conforms nicely to the mouth and eliminates the undesirable "nutcracker action" often associated with bit evasion and defensive behavior. Great for correcting horses that lug on or grab the bit, or those that tend to be strung out. The top ring that the bridle attaches to gives the bit stability and adds mild poll pressure. The two lower rings offer leverage action and a gag effect. There are two areas for rein placement: the ring at the corner of the mouth gives a milder feel and the lower offers more leverage. A very nice choice for all disciplines.
